Frequently asked questions
Which size do I need?+
Coverage is about 1m² per litre. A 500ml tin is ideal for a crack, joint or flashing, and a 1 Litre tin covers about 1m². For bigger areas, the 5L tin is better value.
Will it stop a leak straight away?+
It forms a seamless rubber seal as it dries and is weather resistant after about 1 hour. For an active leak, apply to the area once it has been wiped as dry as possible.
Do I need a primer or a second coat?+
No. It's a one-coat system with no primer needed. On very porous or uneven surfaces, a thicker coat gives the best seal.
What surfaces can I use it on?+
Asphalt, brick, concrete, GRP/fibreglass, metal, felt, OSB and more, on flat or pitched roofs.
Can I use it on gutters, sheds and flashing?+
Yes. It's ideal for small repairs on gutters, shed and garage roofs, skylights, vents, chimney flashing and joints.
How long does it last?+
It forms a flexible rubber membrane that moves with the surface, and gives long-lasting waterproofing for up to 10 years.
How long does it take to dry?+
Weather resistant after about 1 hour and dry in 1–2 hours, depending on temperature and thickness.
Which colour should I choose?+
Grey or Black to match most roofs, or Clear when you want the repair to blend in with the existing surface.
How fast is delivery?+
Free next-day UK delivery on orders placed before the daily cut-off.
