Tough paint, clean conscience
Thermal Insulation Coating keeps heat in and condensation out. A water-based ceramic-barrier coating with low thermal conductivity, made for sheds, cladding, containers and outbuildings. It cuts cold-wall heat loss in winter, helps keep heat out in summer, and stops condensation forming on treated surfaces.
✓ Ceramic barrier✓ Anti-condensation✓ Mould & fungal resistant✓ Zero VOC✓ Brush, roller or spray
Why customers choose it
- ✔️ Thermal control all year — low thermal conductivity reduces cold-wall heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.
- ✔️ Stops condensation — reduces and prevents condensation build-up through hot and cold temperature cycles.
- ✔️ Mould & fungal protection — helps protect internal structures from moisture damage.
- ✔️ Moisture & steam resistant — after just 16 hours.
- ✔️ Bonds to most surfaces — metal, brick, render, plaster, tiles, wood, concrete and plastics.
- ✔️ Durable & scrubbable — high opacity white matt finish that stands up to cleaning.
- ✔️ Safe water-based formula — ECO resin technology, zero VOC, low odour and non-toxic. Safe in occupied and enclosed spaces.

How much do I need?
- Decorative coat: up to 7m² per litre — up to 35m² per 5L tin.
- Maximum insulation: build to 1mm thickness, about 0.8m² per litre (4m² per 5L).
- Apply by brush, roller or airless spray.
| Project |
5L tins (1mm build) |
| Single cold wall, 3m² |

| Small shed roof, 8m² |
2 |
| 20ft container interior, ~35m² |

Tip: Build up in several thin coats rather than one heavy coat. Each coat dries quickly, and thinner coats cure harder.
How to apply in 3 steps
-
Prepare: Remove loose debris, dust, grease and flaking paint. The surface must be clean and dry.
-
Apply: Brush, roll or airless spray in even coats, building up to the thickness you need.
-
Cure: Moisture and steam resistant after 16 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Does it insulate like foam board?+
No. It is a thin-film ceramic coating that reduces heat transfer and stops condensation. Use it alongside, or where you cannot fit, board insulation.
Will it stop condensation in my container or shed?+
Yes. That is what it is designed for. It reduces condensation forming on cold metal and timber surfaces.
What surfaces can I use it on?+
Metal, brick, render, plaster, tiles, wood, concrete and plastics, inside or outside.
Can I paint over it?+
Yes, with a water-based emulsion once it is fully cured. You can also leave it as the white matt finish.
How many coats do I need?+
For decoration, one or two coats. For maximum thermal performance, build up to 1mm across several coats.
Is it safe indoors?+
Yes. It is water-based, zero VOC, low odour and non-toxic.
Can I spray it?+
Yes. It can be applied by airless spray, brush or roller.
How fast is delivery?+
Free next-day UK delivery on orders placed before the daily cut-off.
